Luroufan Tasty is a casual Asian eatery tucked inside Aberdeen Square near the Richmond SkyTrain, offering straightforward Taiwanese comfort food in a quick-service format. This spot is a practical choice for anyone craving hearty, traditional Taiwanese dishes without the wait or fuss of a full-service restaurant. The atmosphere matches its location well — efficient and modest, more food court than sit-down, with an emphasis on grab-and-go convenience that suits busy shoppers or commuters in the area.

The menu centers around classic Taiwanese staples like braised pork belly on rice, deep-fried pork chops, and a variety of oden-style skewers. Portions here lean generous, making it an easy place to get a satisfying, filling meal on a weekday lunch break or casual dinner run. The signature braised pork on rice sees rich chunks of fatty pork in a saucy, savory glaze, balanced with pickled vegetables that add a touch of sharpness to each bite. The deep-fried pork chop also gets nods for tenderness and flavor, holding up well alongside rice and sides.

The cold tossed noodles, while lighter and thinner in texture than some versions diners might expect, bring some variety for those looking to cool down their palate. Some have found the sauce on the noodles a little mild, which suggests those who prefer bold or spicy flavors might want to adjust their order accordingly.

This spot also features a modest selection of drinks like peach oolong tea and wintermelon tea, refreshing complements to the often rich and heavy mains. Given the setting, it’s a place where presentation is simple but neat — especially for takeout, where meals are packaged with care and minimal mess.

Visitors will find the pricing reasonable for Richmond’s food court standards, with enough volume in a single dish to satisfy larger appetites. It's a suitable stop for locals who appreciate authentic Taiwanese flavors in a fast and casual environment, especially when time is limited but quality still matters.

Their takeout is packaged perfectly and with care. The presentation for their takeout is also very nice. I had the Luroufan which was tasty but in average range, like good food court style food vibes. The cold tossed noodle came perfectly and was very fresh. A great option if you are craving Taiwanese classics in fast food format. A good experience.

Located in aberdeen square just by the skytrain station. The Lu Rou rice dish was excellent. The taiwanese sausage was ok. Felt like they should have included garlic flakes or something. The cold noodle was a bit of a ‘miss’ for me. I was expecting a stronger sauce. This tasted different from Taiwanese cold noodles you would find at t&t sometimes. Their noodle is thinner which is good but the sauce/flavor was just ok.

I haven't had proper Taiwanese braised pork on rice (LuRoFan/滷肉飯) in a long time so I was very excited to try this place. Just as expected, the braised pork was chunky, fatty and very saucy and savory. The sweet and sour pickles add a very nice contrasting flavor and texture. My mom had the pork chop and it was so tender and flavorful! I really like this place and am looking forward to coming back!

Have seen a few of good and bad review. Walk by Aberdeen square today and finally get a chance to try on personally. To be honest, I think the price and portion suit me very well. I am a big eater and it can fill me up with no problem. The pork chop smells good and tasty. Everything was fresh made and good presentation. With the price and being happen a booth in food court, it is surprisingly well.

Hidden Gem in Richmond. Generous portions, the price is worth it. The deep fried pork on rice is very large and is very good. Will definitely come back again. 6 stars !

Braised pork rice is pretty good. Right mix of sauce density with meat ratio. The sour cabbage fits well with the sweet and salty sauce. Sausage is cook well and seasoned. Drinks are similar tastento Chinese coffee shop back in China.
